Status Update and Current Airport

Wow... it's been awhile. As those reading this and seeing my last update, it's been a looong time since I've been involved with PNW Simulations or even give an update. I've been on a hiatus for awhile, but recently I got that drive to start doing airport edits and scenery again.

So my first project since my last one, Millers Field, is going to be Lynden Municipal/Jansen Field (38W). The airport is already done, but it being my first airport I did that wasn't a grass strip, it was a bit messy and the land class job I did around the airport was very ugly (just a big square of scenery with farms and fields). I was actually going to do 4WA8 but I decided to finish 38W first since it's been put on hold for about a year now already, and it's nearing completion (like 80%-90% done), so I'm gonna clean up and polish 38W and then release it. It shouldn't be long, all I really have to do is give the surrounding landclass a more natural and blending look with the surroundings.

My next airport I'll do will be Riverside (4WA8), which shouldn't take too long (the landclass from 7WA3 pours into 4WA8's surroundings so I just have to do the airport).

After 4WA8, I'm more than likely going to do a KBLI update, like 1.5, because some of the land class patches in the area I placed are fairly ugly and don't match the evergreen trees at all because I sort of rushed it to release KBLI at the time before summer ended. So the KBLI update will mainly be a land-class update for KBLI.

WA88 and WN35 (Horsefly & Meadow Mist) will follow shortly, as these airports are already done, and since I've given up on redoing the whole land class in the Bellingham area, I'll release these two airports (with minor touches and polishing) since they are practically done.

After I finish those airports that are almost finished or practically done as the ones mentioned, I will do Point Roberts (1RL) airstrip.

I've pretty much given up on massive land-class area changes due to the complexity and scale (and sometimes mess) of doing so, so on future airports such as 4WA5, 1RL, AW6, WA12, WA90, and 0W7, I will only change the intermediate land class.

Anyways, that's it for this blog update! In my next update, I will post preview shots of Lynden Municipal / Jansen Field (38W).
