Welcome to PNW Simulations! PNW Simulations is a website I created to post my add-on scenery I make for the pacific northwest region, primarily Washington state for FSX.

Westwind Airstrip (7WA3), my first airport I edited.

Thanks for visiting PNW Simulations! PNW Simulations is independently ran by only one individual that loves to create FSX scenery as a hobby. I got into the FSX scenery creating business (not really a business) when I was a bit disappointed with some of the add-on sceneries for the pacific northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho) portion of FSX. I started with using ScruffyDuck Software's amazing Airport Design Editor, or ADE. After learning on how to use ADE, my first serious attempt was Westwind Airport (7WA3) in Whatcom County of Washington State. After many revisions, I got the airport to how I wanted it and changed the land class around it too. This airport is currently on Flightsim.com available in their library for download, and will be my first airport to be added to PNW Simulations for download. That's just a short intro to what got me into scenery designing for FSX and what started PNW Simulations.

PNW Simulations is not a real company. ALL my scenery will be 100% freeware for FSX. I create scenery purely for fun. PNW Simulations is simply the name of the website I created where flight simmers can download my scenery for their enjoyment. Accuracy and the level of detail only extends from the airport to its intermediate surroundings. Beyond that, the land class will be changed to match real-life, but it will NOT be 100% accurate. Currently I am only doing Washington State airports, and those airports will range from most airstrips, to medium-sized airports like Paine Field or Boeing Field. I will do international airports like Sea-Tac or PDX some day, but for now that range is all I'll do. Anyways happy Flying!
