Eliza Island is a calm little island community in Bellingham Bay, WA. The island / community can only be reached by boat or plane. On the island is Eliza Island Airstrip, right in the middle of the island. The airstrip is for the locals if a resident has an airplane. Changes include houses and cabins added around the island including a campsite on the east side of the island. Other changes include a small community road going around the island, boats around the island
are added, 4 static planes added around the field, and the landclass was changed minorly to match real life. The Island's shape in FSX is still the same, as I don't really know how to edit the island itself.

Eliza Island Airstrip is a private airfield on Eliza Island in Bellingham Bay, WA. In real life the airstrip is used by the community privately, but if you want to fly into Eliza Island you have to call the owner of the field ahead of time, but since this is FSX, you obviously don't need to do that. However because the airfield is private, no parking spots or fuel were added. This also means that no AI can fly into Eliza Island. In real life, Eliza Island doesn't have a CTAF frequency, so you don't have to announce your intentions. In FSX, I don't think a CTAF frequency is assigned to Eliza Island. 

 

CREDITS:

Used Airport Design Editor from Scruffy Duck Software and only default scenery objects were used. This may require FSX Acceleration/Gold/Steam or FSX SP1/SP2.

 

This airport was a short break from doing my major KBLI project, which is a little over 50% done. After this is uploaded, I will resume work on KBLI. This airport took about 1 day to complete.

 

INSTALLATION:

Unzip ElizaIsland.zip, copy both WA93_ADEX_JP and WA93_ADEX_JP_CVX, and place these two files in your FSX Addon Scenery Folder (FSX\Addon Scenery\scenery). Enjoy and happy flying!

 

NOTE:

This scenery package belongs to me and my website, PNW Simulations (not a real company). You have my permission to edit my scenery, but only for your personal enjoyment. I will upload my scenery to PNW Simulations website and Flightsim.com. Only websites you can upload my scenery to are Avsim, Sim Outhouse, fs2000.org, or FlyAwaySimulations. If you upload to any of those websites, DO NOT change anything in the files and credit me.

 

DO NOT UPLOAD THIS SCENERY TO ANY OTHER WEBSITE OTHER THAN THE ONES I MENTIONED.

This is ONLY freeware. DO NOT use this scenery for profit (payware) and DO NOT steal my work.

 

This scenery has only been tested in FSX: Steam Edition. However this may work with previous FSX versions as well as P3D. This scenery could also possibly work in DTG's Flight Sim World, however I doubt it.
